Growing up in NJ his summers were spent boating at the Jersey Shore and various lakes throughout the North East. Compass Point Marina is located on the South East end of St. Thomas, just minutes from Red Hook. The marina does not have a store, but there is a large grocery store, Food Center, on the main road by the Marina. This marina is located in St. Thomas’ only hurricane hole so you will be guaranteed a calm boarding.
Louly has been the name of every boat we have owned. Louly was our black lab mix named Bristol, also known as Bristol Leannie Louly, and she was always up for a boating adventure. Although she never made it on to the Louly III (she passed away in February 2013), she loved being out on our other two boats. As a matter of fact, you sometimes still see the Louly II out on the waters here, her last and favorite boat. I sure wish she had had a chance to make it out on the Louly III. However, we have since adopted two lab brothers Chukar and Blake from a shelter in NC that are enjoying their time on the Louly III with our ol' gal Bo Peep.
